graphic stories by Katharina Anna
Helming and Marc Seestaedt

What's going through my mind when I wake up in the morning, on my way to work, when I drink coffee with friends, when I shop for groceries in the supermarket? Which of these things do I speak out loud, what do I keep for myself?

LIFESTRIPS are autobiographical graphic stories that recount seemingly trivial and mundane moments of daily life in the form of staged or semi-documentary picture series. Accurately observing their own thoughts and feelings, the authors tell affectionately and ironically of the absurdity of everyday life. An experimental and personal project of Marc Seestaedt and Katharina Anna Helming.

NOW every week friday to sunday on the subway screen broadcast 'Berliner Fenster' in Berlin (start: 29. Februar 2008). The already broadcasted stories can be read here.
